There’s a difference between working harder…
and working with your body.

Myofascial release isn’t about intensity.
It’s about consistency.

I don’t recommend scheduling a series to fill my calendar.
I recommend it because I’ve seen what actually creates change.

One session introduces your body to this work.
You’ll likely feel relief.
You may even sleep better.

But lasting change doesn’t come from a single visit.

Your nervous system needs repetition.
Your fascia needs time.
Your body needs to feel safe enough to soften long-held tension patterns.

When support is steady,
patterns begin to shift.
That’s where real, lasting change happens.

That’s why I suggest scheduling multiple sessions upfront.

Not because you’re locked in.
If it doesn’t feel right, we adjust.

But most people don’t cancel.

They feel the difference.
They recognize the shift.
They realize their body has been asking for this kind of care.

I’m not the “squeeze you in tomorrow” provider.
I’m here for the work that unfolds over time.
The kind that stays.

If you’re ready for that…
I’d love to support you.

One small but important thing to know…

Lotions and oils aren’t used in Myofascial Release.

MFR relies on sustained, gentle pressure and engagement with the fascia.
If the skin is slippery, we lose that connection.

It’s not about gliding over the body.
It’s about listening to it.

Different intention.
Different result.

I’ve learned a lot from Heather Hammel and The MFR Coach®. She’s doing a free training about why clients hesitate after the first session. If you’re building an MFR practice, this is worth attending!

Most MFR therapists believe clients don’t commit because they don’t understand the work well enough. So they explain more.Teach harder.Hope clarity leads to follow through. But that is not the real reason clients hesitate after the first session. And once you see what is actually missing, first vis...

When should you not get Myofascial Release?

There are times when your body needs something different.

Acute illness.
Fever.
Active infection.
Certain medical conditions that require clearance first.

This work is gentle but it’s also intentional.
Safety and timing matter.

If you’re ever unsure, we talk through it.
Your body leads the conversation.

Sometimes the simplest thing is the most meaningful.

A breath in.
A breath out.
Space to feel grounded again.

A pause can do wonders.

If you’ve been living with
“tight shoulders,”
“bad posture,”
or that constant ache you’ve just gotten used to…

It might not be a muscle problem.

Fascia holds patterns.
Patterns hold tension.

Myofascial Release gently invites your body to unwind what it’s been carrying.

You don’t have to push through it.
You don’t have to normalize it.

There’s another way.

There isn’t a “forbidden” body part.

But there is a right way to approach each area.

Myofascial Release isn’t about avoiding certain places in the body.
It’s about listening to what the tissue is communicating and responding with patience, precision, and respect.

Every area holds connective tissue.
Every area deserves thoughtful care.

This work is slow. Intentional. Responsive.
Not about pushing but about following.

That’s why each session is tailored to you.

Sometimes support is simple.

A small tool.
A gentle approach.
A reminder that care doesn’t have to be forceful to be effective.

At Bright Wave, we focus on intention over intensity and always listening to the body.

That moment when the tension finally lets go…Clients often describe it as warmth, lightness, or a deep sense of relief. Your body knows what to do, it just needs the space to do it.

A simple reminder we all need sometimes, slow down, breathe deep, and let your body reset.

Our Story

I am a licensed massage therapist with a wealth of experience. In 2013, I received my Massage Therapy license and have continued expanding my knowledge and skills since that time. I am certified in Pre-Natal massage, Cupping Therapy and RockTape kinesiotaping. In addition, I also incorporate neuromuscular and myofascial techniques in my sessions.

There are no cookie-cutter massages, here! Each session, I listen to what your needs are and work with you to develop a plan, while letting the body guide the treatment that's needed that day.
