New Year's party 2025!! Lots of good food, laughter and fun. We are looking forward to a happy, healthy and wonderful 2026! I was so busy I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted, but the ones I snapped were sure cute.

***EDIT: 🎄🎄🎄 The residents opened their blankets after lunch on Christmas Day.🎄🎄🎄

Thank you to Diane Bickford and the ladies from the "Jesus Name House of Prayer" and "Women Support Ministries", in Chetopa. They brought each resident a blanket. We wrapped the blankets and each resident had a gift to open Christmas morning. Diane does a wonderful job leading Bible study on Monday morning and we really appreciate her.

The Christmas party was a blast. Everyone enjoyed tasty hors d'oeuvres, christmas punch, and lots of presents!! Thank you Liz and Bonnie for all your help. Thanks to Natasha and Yvonne for taking lots of pictures.

Making our festive "Christmas Chains" has become a tradition at Oswego Health and Rehab. Not only is it a fun craft, but the residents love that they contribute to the decorations. This year's is the longest chain so far...

What a wonderfully busy day we've had today!! After lunch, Bartlett Elementary school students came and sang for us. The children brought each resident a stocking filled with gifts and a handmade card. They were accompanied by KOAM TV, who was on hand to film all the action. Each of the students left with a snowman Hershey's bar and a pair of gloves. The residents loved the music, seeing the children and all the excitement that young laughter brings. We finished off the afternoon with a delicious Grinch drink. After supper, it was off for a Christmas Lights Tour through the park and around town. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible!

A big thank you to Randy Beeman with Harry Hynes Hospice for coming to Oswego Health and Rehab and singing Christmas carols with us on Thursday. Cookies and hot chocolate topped off the afternoon.

The girls had so much fun decorating Christmas stockings. Ribbons, beads, sparkles and an ornament made for lots of creative designs. As you can see by the smiles on their faces, we were so happy with how these turned out.
