Hello community!

It is almost that time!!! Our cookie season starts on February 6 with preorders and local booth sales,where we will have cookies in hand, start on February 27! Girl Scouts are getting ready and learning all there is to know about cookie selling and can’t wait to get your favorites to you!

New this year: Exploremores!!!! These Rocky Road Ice Cream inspired cookies are a fantastic addition to our returning favorites! Be sure to grab a box when you’re out and about starting February 27 when cookies are available in person OR from your friendly neighborhood Girl Scout starting February 6 through preorders!

Volunteers from Troop 10566 are set up and ready to hand out treats at Trunk or Treat today at the Oswego Speedway! Be sure to stop and ask questions about joining if interested!

Dust off those boots and grab your favorite cowboy hat, it’s time for the Girl Scout Rodeo! Join us tonight for some fun and food and learn a bit about Girl Scouts while you’re at it! We hope to see you there!

Junior Girl Scouts from Minetto Troop 10566 would like to thank Tara Veterinary Hospital, Fruit Valley Veterinary Clinic, and Muddy Paws Grooming and Boarding for supporting their Bronze Award project by allowing donation boxes at their businesses. The girls also had the chance to tour Tara Veterinary Hospital, learning about the hospital’s workflow, equipment, and safety measures. At Muddy Paws Grooming and Boarding, they learned about boarding services and met some dogs!

The girls are focusing on supporting local animal shelters, as they all have a personal connection to animals and want to help shelters that are overwhelmed with pets needing homes. They are making and donating goods to benefit these shelters and working on keeping local parks clean for animals. All donations will go to shelters and rescues in Oswego, NY.

DONT WAIT! If you can’t eat them, consider donating! All cookie donations will be split between the military and our local food pantry!
