It’s been awhile since I’ve had a post for Red Beard’s Tree Service. We had some unexpected medical emergencies in my family that made me have to take FMLA leave at work for close to 6 weeks for Davey Tree trimming for DTE. I’ve had to refer out all previous scheduled work during that time frame for Red Beard’s Tree Service to take care of my family.

With that being said I am back to work now full time unless anything unexpected happens. We were able to get a couple jobs done this weekend and accepting work at this time. It felt great to get back work for Davey and myself this week.

Call Red Beard’s Tree Service for all your tree care needs, as always we pride ourselves on providing high quality work at a fair price! Fully insured with commercial general liability insurance and licensed journeyman tree trimmer through local 17 IBEW

Hey! We have been off for most of the fall for deer season and my day job, here’s some pictures of the first job of 2024. The tree is a red oak with a significant lean towards the house. The homeowner and HOA were concerned with possible property damage in the future, so they chose to have it removed. The job went smooth, and the only setback was the snowstorm. The trees down and brush, wood, and debris are cleaned up, going back tomorrow for the stump grind! Big thanks to my buddy Matt Rakay for coming out to work the ground!

Here’s a picture of our business card’s. The next order of cards we get, the writing will be more clear. The cards didn’t turn out exactly how I’d like but get the point across.

Here’s a follow up of the job we started Saturday and got finished up Monday due to the weather, along with another smaller job completed Monday. Saturday’s job on the silver maple was a “cut and leave”. The other job was a complete clean up for the Norway maple and brush behind the pole barn. Give Red Beard’s Tree Service a call for all your tree care needs!

This Silver Maple we started today, the tree from first glance looked to be pretty cut and dry. Turns out like a lot of times with tree work there’s more tree than you think. An old timer I used to work with told me before that all tree work, is an educated guess. That rings true almost every day with this industry. Everything went very smooth and I got to apply a different technique of rigging that is very effective called speed lining. The only problem we had today was the storm that came through. We’re gonna get some rest after a long week working 16 hr shifts for the recent storm’s down state and finish it up Monday morning! More pictures to come from this job after it’s finished. Stay safe everyone and have a great 4 of July weekend!! God bless the USA 🇺🇸

Call us for any size job, here’s a smaller Red Pine that fell over in a storm last winter. The customer asked just to have it cut up in manageable sized pieces. I don’t have an after picture for this one because I was rushing to get to another job. This job was an urgent job because the customer was having an open house for his daughter and his saw wasn’t running. We are always willing to do whatever we can do to accommodate our customer, wether it’s flexibility in scheduling, giving honest recommendations, or special requests on a job. Honesty, dependability, reliability is what we pride ourselves with our tree service. As well as providing high quality work at a fair price!

We’ve been staying busy on this holiday weekend so far, big shout out to my buddy Matt Rakay and Rakay’s Tree Service for coming out and giving me a hand running ropes and cleaning up. This job was a large maple trim to help prevent debris from entering her in ground pool. Permission was given from the neighbor who owned the tree as well. This job was a complete clean up job. As always we pride ourselves with providing high quality work at a fair price!! Thanks to everyone involved to make the job run smoothly.

Here’s a job we did this morning before the weather came in. The customer asked for the two maples by her barn to be topped. This job was a “complete cleanup” meaning all brush, debris, and wood would be taken off the job site. Here’s some pictures from the start to finish. As always we appreciate the work and pride ourselves with providing high quality work at a fair price!
Also a big shout out to my beautiful lady for always being there to help and being the best groundswoman around! Finally I’d like thank everyone for the support, wether it’s referring work to me, sharing knowledge, or reacting/sharing on Facebook post. You’re all appreciated and I couldn’t have asked for a better start to Red Beard’s Tree Service. Thank you 😁

This was a very large willow stump that we did a stump grind on. Pictures were taken from start to finish. This job was just a grind no filling of top soil or grass seeding. The dirt and fine grinding will settle after time. Allowing the home owner to fill and seed over level with the existing yard. The stump had a lot of rot but willows will grow back at some point without a stump removal. Call us for all your stump grinding needs!

Here was a large black walnut tree that I climbed and removed a large section over the barn for a friend of mine in Clio at his farm. We rigged almost every cut using natural crotch rigging or butt checked with a tag line.

Here’s some pictures of a large willow that was removed for a local customer. This job was a “cut and leave” meaning the customer paid for the tree to be cut and branches, wood, and debris was to stay.
