We did not feel good last night at all! Poor girl, her food didn’t settle well which happens sometimes and she had an upset tummy all night long. But plus side she’s back to her spunky self today just sleeping more to recover fully!

Deefe was born November 21st 2022, with two other sisters. As soon as she was born we noticed she was missing her front legs and one back leg longer than the other one. But there was a more pressing issue at hand, as we could not get her to suckle on mom, nor even open her mouth very far. After help from a special mom to me we got her to latch! She was born at 10 oz and struggled to gain weight only weighting 14 oz at 4 weeks old and stayed there for almost a week. With nursing from mom and supplementing in between to help her gain weight she finally started to gains tiny bits at a time but still only gaining an ounce every 3 to 4 days. Around 5 weeks she started to have some major issues with bloating and after a vet consultation we discovered she had difficulty with thin liquids. We thickened her food and she was good as good again. She’s currently almost 7 weeks, still only weighting 24 oz! Follow to stay up to date on her story as we continue this journey together!
