Very long read but well worth it, i promise! Lol
For those who don’t know me well,
I am a grandma of a wonderful 5yr old. I’m blessed to be with him several days out of the week in the mornings a few hours before he goes to Monark. Monark is ABA therapy for children on the spectrum (if you didn’t know). Part of my routine with him, I have started incorporating
massage to his feet with a specific cream I selected and he just loves! I have always gave him a small neck, shoulder, arm leg rub when he allows me to. But one thing I have noticed, he loves his scalp and feet massages!!! I’ve been doing this for a couple weeks now when I’m with him. Massage has so many benefits to the human body and mind
beyond what I can ever explain in full detail. So I got to thinking, does everyone know the benefits of massage therapy? Not only in adults but in children?
I will share this article on massage for children with Autism and other diagnoses.
I see what it does for my grandson and will be happy to share with you what I know if anyone interested!! Please reach out to me with any questions or if you’d like to hear more.
