This afternoon, some of our residents had the pleasure of enjoying a special treat at Nell’s Woodland, where they participated in a fun couple hours of bingo. We extend our gratitude to Nell’s for providing a beautiful facility for us to enjoy our favorite game. We also appreciate Heritage Woods for supplying all the food and bingo prizes. Furthermore, we thank Pleasant View and LaSalle County Nursing Home for coming together to make it a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

We are all one big family through the good and the bad we stand by each other no matter what. So in true Pavilion fashion we are here to support one of our own as she battles this bump in the road. Her fight has now become our fight as well. If you would like to join us in showing your support we now have T-shirts available for purchase. Congratulations to Norm Suranne, Pavilion of Ottawa’s Employee of the Month! 🎉

Norm has been a valued member of our team for just three months, but his positive energy and friendly presence have already made a big impact. As our bus driver, he brings a smile and a story to every ride.

Outside of work, Norm enjoys riding his Harley, checking out local fests and live bands, and spending time outdoors with his wife and dog. He says his secret to work-life balance is simple: always put family first and remember that life is too short not to enjoy it.

One of his favorite parts of the job? Listening to the incredible stories our residents share about small-town life—something this proud “city kid” truly appreciates.
