What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy also often referred to as Craniosacral work is a gentle, hands-on anatomy based bodywork that works deeply with your central nervous system.

Your central nervous system (CNS) is your brain and spinal cord, and it controls every system in your body.

Focus, intention, and deep listening from your practitioner come together to allow your body to relax and redistribute energy. Supporting your body back to equilibrium by assisting your body's natural ability to heal.

Clients remain clothed during the session while light touch is used to manipulate the skull, back, and sacrum. As your body functions as a whole, your practitioner may include other parts of the body as well with a goal of promoting relaxation, overall balance, and reducing tension.

A skilled practitioner works to connect to the unique tides of your cerebrospinal fluid and the membranes that surround and protect your brain and spinal column. Tuning into the subtle rhythmic motion of these structures and helping to restore proper flow and help release surrounding tissues.

During or after a session clients may feel clarity of the mind as well as a calm and energized.

I am excited to announce I am offering 💕 Couples Massages 💕 in Ottsville! Available on the schedule Monday and Friday afternoons - evenings!

A unique bonding experience where two clients receive their own massage in the same room from two different therapists. The perfect opportunity to relax and de-stress together.

The other massage therapist making this possible is, Scott Zapf, of Quakertown. Scott and I have working together for a few years now, and he has even helped me with my own pain in the past!
