Indian Hills Occupational Therapy Assistant After program completion, graduates will be eligible to take the national certification examination

Occupational Therapy Assistants are licensed health care providers who work with, and under the supervision of occupational therapists, to administer treatments to patients/clients. Treatments include hands–on services to children and adults who are learning new ways to succeed in the activities of daily living. Employment opportunities are expected to increase dramatically and include hospitals, clinics, mental health clinics, school systems, home health agencies, and long term care centers.

Wow! Spring term has been busy! The 1st and 2nd year cohort gathered together for Mental Health First Aid training today lead by Dr Christine Urish and Drake Capstone student, Haylee. This was such a valuable learning experience. Participants are eligible to be Mental Health First Aid certified.
