🌿 Forest Bathing 🌿
Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is the simple practice of immersing yourself in nature with all your senses—listening to the rustle of leaves, breathing in the scent of the trees, and feeling the ground beneath your feet. It’s less about exercise and more about slowing down, reconnecting, and letting nature’s calm restore your mind and body. Even a short walk under the trees can lower stress, boost mood, and bring a sense of peace.

Ever wonder what your nurses do on their lunch break? 🤔
🐦 Drive injured birds to the local wildlife rescue, of course! 🐦

When Nurse Sandra spotted an injured little bird this morning, her daughter said, "Mom, you have to take it to Miss Laura because she will save it!"
A brown paper rx bag, some shredded paper for bedding, a car ride over lunch, and our birdie friend is safely in the care of the amazing people at Lakeside Nature Center.
