Excellent teamwork on a multi patient scene this morning in Atchison County with crews from Life Star 1, Health Star One, and Atchison County EMS.

Coordinating multiple aircraft on a scene can be complex and dangerous but we’re grateful for the excellent communication with Atchison County Rescue as well as patient care/handoff by the ground EMS crews.

HealthSTAR One team Christmas party for crew members, their families and coworker’s at Bamboo Penny’s. Good food and fun times!

Incredible to meet one of our former resilient patients that our team flew a few years ago! He spoke at our Christmas party last night and we couldn’t be happier to have been in the right place at the right time! Cheers, young man!

Our crews recently met up for this quarters SIM labs at Stormont Vail. We use this time to practice scenarios, refresh on skills, and brush up on topics we may not encounter often. This quarter, we focused on ventilator management, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and pediatrics. We are grateful for this continued opportunity!

This week Global Medical Response sponsored the Patriots Rugby Club (founded in the KC Metro area) at the World Police and Fire Games. Air Evac Lifeteam 15 - Cullman Co., Ala. got to watch as history unfolded in their backyard. Two flight medics from GMR got to compete in games, one from Air Evac Lifeteam 15 and one of our very own! Congrats on taking home hardware ladies and representing the USA!🥈
