Ever wonder why everything can feel wobbly and tight at the same time during pregnancy?

Why does it feel like your pelvis is falling apart?
Why does stretching feel so good and then you feel tight again 5 minutes later?

As relaxin softens your joints and ligaments to make space for baby, your muscles often step in to create extra stability—sometimes a little too much.

That tension can leave you feeling tight, stiff, sore, or unbalanced even though your brain is just trying to help, locking down those muscles is not actually functional.

Chiropractic care helps support you through these changes—easing muscle tension, improving joint mobility and targeted strength work to help find functional stability.

Let’s work together to help your body move and adapt with more comfort and confidence 🙌🏼

A glimpse into my brain.

Most of these are books I reference or recommend on the daily (and some of them are missing bc I lend them out) - while also being a stylish stack 🙃

Do you see any titles you recognize?

What should I add to this shelf that has been a useful tool in your parenthood journey?

It feels strange and unnerving when the way we move through life and the skills that have helped us be successful don’t seem to fit anymore.

The structure, the schedule, the to do list… They’ve served you well. But now they leave you drained.

Like a salmon swimming upstream , it takes so much effort.

Because this new season, it asks for something different.

A softer lens, a slower rhythm.

Less structure, more flow.

Let the contact nap happen.
Pick one task and leave the rest for tomorrow.
Go to bed early.
Touch grass.
Feel the sunshine on your face.
Watch the baby, not the clock.
Let them help.
Read some fiction.

And those things are far from failure - they are fulfilling.

Save this so you can come back to it.

And send it to a friend that could use the reminder.

✨Just got the best kind of email — a mama sharing that her breech baby flipped head down just 24 hours before her scheduled C-section!

Every body, every baby, and every journey is so unique — and moments like these are always worth celebrating.

This story is a powerful reminder, esp if babe is breech: there is still time, time is our friend, you are not stuck, the baby is not stuck and you have options, so many options. Your instincts are wise, and support is out there.

Walking alongside mamas through these incredible transitions with individualized care and attention is truly an honor. 🤍

Also, can we have L&D walk-in songs for parents like they do for baseball at-bats?

I think this would be a good one!

As Americans*, we don’t plan or even really consider having someone tend to our physical healing in the early postpartum weeks.

Birth is an incredible transformation, not just emotionally, but physically. And yet so many new parents are left to recover on their own—navigating stitches through many layers of tissue, organs rearranging themselves, sore joints from the spine literally changing shape, nursing tension, and core instability without guidance.

Gentle bodywork can support and enahnce your healing tissues, help your pelvis and spine recalibrate after birth, and offer relief in the places that ache the most—from your SI joints to your neck after hours of holding, feeding, and loving your baby.

Let’s close the care gap, together. Let’s raise the standard of care for healing better.

🤍 You don’t have to do this part alone.
🤍 Know someone who might need this kind of support? Send this their way—it could make all the difference.

* Many, many countries across the world have beautiful, rich traditions to physically nurture and support new moms. For example, in Malaysia new moms get hot stone massages and warm abdominal compresses in their bed for a month after giving birth. Can you imagine? Sign me up.

These parents were worried about the flat spot getting worse on their Bub’s head.

We had two visits and I taught them a few stretches + changes to make to his environment to balance his looking preference.

Emphasis on the impact they can have on his progress.

They have put in the work at home and BOOM!

What a huge shift from being concerned to being excited.

Love to see it.
