Thousands of pets go missing each year, but simple steps can help prevent heartbreak. This , share these tips with your clients to help keep pets safe and home where they belong:

• Microchip pets and keep contact info up to date
• Use secure collars and ID tags
• Check fences for hidden escape routes, and ensure gates are in working order
• Use a leash, even for quick trips
• Use carriers or seat belts when traveling

Pro tip: Keeping water bowls clean with regular washing helps deter bacterial growth and encourages pets to drink more water!
