With EVERY musculoskeletal pain you can and should be trying strategies on your own to find relief, the most common include light soft-tissue work with a foam roller or lacrosse ball, mobility work and stretching, opposite direction joint loading, as much movement/exercise as you can comfortably do without making symptoms worse.
*This list doesn’t mean you can’t seek care sooner, it’s mostly for those of you who would wait months or years to begin investigating your pain.
