At Anthem Communities, our team is always learning, growing, and sharing experiences to provide our beloved residents with the compassionate care they deserve.

Today our staff took part in an incredibly informative and eye-opening dementia training provided by Ascend Hospice. The session broke down the neuroscience behind dementia in a clear and relatable way, helping us better understand what our residents experience each day.

Afterward, team members took turns wearing modified headphones, glasses, and gloves designed to simulate what it feels like for some for some of the people who live with dementia — a truly powerful experience. ❤️

Come on down! You’re the next contestant on The Pumpkin Spice is Right! Today we hosted a pumpkin spice and The Price is Right inspired activity with our residents who had a ball! We enjoyed the flavors of the season with pumpkin spice treats and drinks. The smell of freshly baked pumpkin spice cookies was heavenly!
