Today I'm making more time for short breaks, deep breathing, and a short walk over lunch. Definitely feeling "May" and I can feel my heart beating a bit faster at "all the things" that are coming up.

When I feel like this, I make more time for my resets: breathing, getting outside, my infrared lights, and getting adjusted!

Here's to taking it one day at a time and enjoying this crazy fun time of year!:)

PSA Ladies! (or guys depending on how you roll-no judgement)

If you are buying new summer shoes, please buy sandals with an ankle strap. Slides, slip ons, mules, etc take extra "work" to stay on your foot when you walk and I spend most of August/September with women complaining of foot/ankle/knee/hip pain that they don't understand. Wear those shoes to dinner, quick in and outs, etc NOT long periods of shopping, vacation, the zoo etc.

Your body will thank you!

My mom has told me numerous times that she wishes she'd known about chiropractic when I was younger. I love being able to offer alternatives to parents and teaching young ones a different way of thinking about their body!

Attitude Adjustment? Yes, please!

We often get asked by parents, jokingly, if we can give an attitude adjustment also but chiropractic adjustments really do affect your attitude! By bringing calming and balance to the nervous system, especially via the Vagus Nerve, many patients report feeling more calm, joyful, and less stressed after they get adjusted!

"Play like a Campion".

My son made a poster for his door. Unfortunately, he meant to spell "Champion". (It's a Notre Dame thing for those who don't know)

He couldn't have known it but I think his version is better. See, my high school basketball coach was Coach Campion. I learned a lot from him but the biggest thing was "no excuses". Whenever I would start to complain that I wasn't getting a break at practice, or whatever other injustice I perceived, he'd cut off my long winded speech and tell me "No Excuses" and that was the end of the conversation.

Eventually, I started to push myself differently and realized how much time and energy I was wasting by making excuses, complaining, etc and realized that Coach, was of course, right.

Are you holding yourself back due to excuses? What BS are you telling yourself about why it can't happen or won't work instead of just doing it?

In honor of March Madness (and my son) I invite you to "play like a Campion"!
