We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting new resource for caregivers in Leavenworth and Wyandotte County, KS! If you're caring for someone with a probable diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, the Kansas Respite for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Program (K-RAD) is here for you.

This fantastic program provides eligible caregivers with up to $1,000 per year for each care recipient, helping to cover the cost of respite care services through our agency, Heart of America Home Health Care. It's our way of supporting you in your important role while ensuring that you have the time and space to recharge. Join us in making caregiving a little easier!
