Federal health officials recently removed several life-saving vaccines from their recommended immunization schedule for kids. ❄️ Winter Car Seat Safety Tip! 🚗
Did you know that bulky winter coats shouldn’t be worn under car seat harnesses? Puffy jackets and snowsuits can compress in a crash, causing the harness straps to become too loose — and that means less protection for your child.
Instead:
👉 Dress your little one in thin layers inside the car.
👉 Buckle them in snugly clothes first, then place a blanket or their coat over the harness for warmth.
Keeping kids warm and safe is totally possible with a few easy steps! 💙
