Rhythmic Medicine

Rhythmic Medicine Music therapy, sound healing, and rhythm supporting nervous system regulation, stress relief, relaxation, and emotional balance.

Therapeutic music for grounding, connection, and well-being. Rhythmic Medicine explores the healing power of music, sound, and rhythm to support nervous system regulation, relaxation, and emotional balance. Founded by Janalea Hoffman, music therapist, musician, and educator, this work is rooted in a simple truth: the body responds to rhythm before it responds to words. Through therapeutic music, s

teady rhythm, and sound-based practices, Janalea helps individuals slow down, release tension, and reconnect with their natural internal rhythms. Her work supports lowering stress, deepening breathing, and creating a greater sense of calm and well-being. A pioneer in the field of music therapy, Janalea has developed innovative approaches including music composed at specific tempos to support physiological regulation. Her work integrates music, relaxation, and imagery to support both emotional and physical healing. Janalea is the founder of Rhythmic Medicine and the author of Rhythmic Medicine: Music with a Purpose. She holds a master’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Kansas and has been featured in publications including Prevention, Arthritis Today, and Breast Cancer Awareness. Through Rhythmic Medicine, she offers therapeutic music experiences, education, and training designed to help people slow down, listen, and reconnect with the rhythms within. Rhythmic Medicine invites you to slow down and reconnect with the rhythms already at work within you.
