We celebrated Labor Day with a huge Village Luncheon!

Mother nature may have moved the festivities inside, but we still enjoyed our picnic staples. Residents and team members alike loved the grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and ice-cream on the menu from our dedicated dining team. We saw at least 150 people in our Independent Living dining room all grabbing a meal together. 😋

Employee of the Month - August 2025 is Eddie Campbell!

Eddie is one of the hard work, behind the scenes, backbone individuals keeping our Village running each and every day on the facilities team. He keeps us in compliance with tasks like fire safety and facility compliance. As Mark, our COO, stated: Eddie is the man who helps keeps our lights on each and every day, the power working, the HVAC systems running, and traversing the entire Village making sure our the buildings are working as they should. Thank you Eddie for EVERYTHING that you do here! 😊

End of the summer outings have such comfortable weather! This week was so wonderful to be outside, and our residents may not have wanted to return home from our picnic in the park! 🙃 So, per their request, we stayed out longer! Which allowed for the perfect impromptu sing-a-long after lunch. 🎤 💁‍♀️

Last week, our Independent Living Health Fair was a great hit! Residents in our Independent Living apartments and villas enjoyed the opportunity to learn about all of the services offered here in the Village and toured our neighborhoods across campus. Presentations on a variety of topics were offered and residents loved meeting with the variety of companies that participated in the week long event.

Thank you to Allison our Independent Living concierge for putting this all together and everyone that came out and made this such a success!! 😁

Burgers, onion rings, and custard are some of our favorite foods!

Residents from our Memory Support neighborhoods enjoyed a delicious lunch out with family & friends today. We filled up on our favorites before heading back home. 😋

The best moment today was seeing the happiest of expressions on a resident's face when they were surprised by their family member in the restaurant, as they did not know they were planning on coming.

Rookie of the Month - August 2025 is Briana Henderson!

Briana is one of our occupational therapists on our Summit Care team. Amanda Hill, our Director of Resident Operations was so excited to share that Briana helps residents across the Village at all levels with compassion and grace. She assists with hard conversations involving changes or recommendations and does so with such a kind heart to get our residents where they need to be. It is a joy working with her, we get compliments about her all the time, and we are so thankful she is a part of our team. This is so well deserved!😊
