For 2 years I’ve spent every other Saturday at the Bloch School of Business and the journey is finally complete - I earned my EMBA with my awesome & ambitious cohort! The cap & gown make it official! 🎓

It’s a difficult balance with a busy cosmetic practice, three girls under 6, and life consistently putting up distractions - my wife Ellie is the one that kept us afloat. Without her none of it works, I’m so thankful she allows me to continue to push. ❤️

Just like medical school, the EMBA teaches you a different way of thinking. I can’t wait to start applying new principles to my practice and to new entrepreneurial businesses & projects in ! I wanted this to make a bigger impact on my community & hometown and can’t wait to get started.

We’ve gotten to know our patient featured here really well over the last handful of visits & love seeing her, we’re sad the postop visits have to end!
She’s undergone deep plane facelift, deep neck lift, bleph, scalp advancement and brow contouring - now she’s 3 mos out from surgery & healing beautifully. I think that those variety of procedures blend well together - it’s hard to put your finger on which procedures have been done, looks more natural that way IMO. It helps that she’s super healthy & motivated to heal.

Six weeks ago our patient featured here underwent a with rib cartilage dorsal onlay for contour - and I love how she’s healing up. She’s had an awesome attitude the whole time and is killing the recovery. We used external oblique fascia and diced rib cartilage to create a moldable onlay graft then used septal cartilage to project and sculpt her tip. Then I performed alar based reduction and the incisions are imperceptible.

We still have a little ways to go before the shape is finalized but it already looks awesome IMO. Sincere thanks to her for being so great on the ride!!

opens up the eyes, expands the visual fields and can rejuvenate - all with a 45min procedure done in the clinic or the OR, patient’s choice. One of my favorites because it’s an expedient recovery compared to some other procedures and the results are beautiful & predictable. For some patients - not here - they’re paired with or .

Thanks to our patient for letting us share her journey with irradiated rib cartilage and temporalis fascia!
She’s been through a prior surgery in the past and was hoping for more balance, symmetry and definition. Revision rhinoplasties are challenging cases because it may require redoing the structure - as it did here. We wrapped irradiated rib cartilage in temporalis fascia to place spreader, septal extension, columellar, and lateral crural cartilage grafts to give her more contour and structure. Then we added and subtracted soft tissue in strategic places.

Difficult cases can be that much more rewarding! We love this patient & can’t wait to watch her heal up.

Fat grafting is the best option for adding deep volume - but not the best option for skin contour or fine lines & wrinkles.
