Adopting a family or individual for Hanukkah is a great opportunity for families, groups, and businesses!

2. Shop at your convenience and drop off unwrapped gifts during designated drop-off times.

📢 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Congregation Beth Torah - Thursday, October 16th at 1:00 PM

Join us as we weigh, sort and load donations collected by Congregation Beth Torah. Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes, comfortable attire and be comfortable lifting and moving with 20-30lbs. JFS will have equipment onsite to help assist with moving heavy materials. Without your help, our staff will spend hours loading these wonderful donations.

One more Give Back Thursday left to support JFS at Cliff's Taphouse! Every Thursday in August, Cliff’s will donate a portion of dine-in, beverage, and to go sales to JFS, helping us supply healthy ingredients for school lunches to local kids.

This August, every Thursday at Cliff’s means giving local students the fresh start they deserve. We’re donating a percentage of your tab to Jewish Family Services, helping them provide healthy ingredients for school lunches right here in KC.

Our JFS External Affairs team had a wonderful visit with our colleagues at Kansas City PBS to exchange ideas on development and community outreach. Debbie Bass, Chief Development Officer; Sophie Shafter, Development Manager; and Ruth Bigus, Community Relations Director, enjoyed learning about the impactful work PBS is doing in our community.

And the icing on the cake? They got to meet Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch—because every great meeting deserves a little Sesame Street magic! 💛💚

Thank you to MU Extension and AdventHealth Kansas City for partnering with us recently on a Dining with Diabetes series! Over four sessions, participants were coached to "build skills while learning proven strategies to better manage, prevent or delay complications related to diabetes". Sessions included hands-on cooking and ingredient bags to take home! Looking forward to partnering again in the future!
