JFS staff and volunteers packed boxes for clients of Jewish Vocational Service (JVS), Kansas City who have been impacted by changes in SNAP benefits. JFS and JVS worked together to identify foods that would be appreciated by JVS refugee clients including spices and dried fruits. JFS will continue to support JVS clients with fresh produce and non perishable food as a result of lost government benefits.

Join us at Servaes Brewing Co. - Shawnee on 1/24 and Kick off our Spread the Love collection. Fill the pantry shelves with peanut butter & jelly and all things spreadable! 🥜💜🧡

Calling all peanut butter lovers! 🥜🥜 Join us Saturday, Jan. 24, for the release of four peanut butter beers! 🥜

Point and Flat BBQ will be serving in the taproom 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 🐷 Participate in the JFS of Greater Kansas City's "Spread the Love" campaign! Bring in a spreadable like peanut butter, jelly, honey or other non-perishable item for their food pantry! 🥜🍯🥫 Grab a beer, enjoy some barbecue and help us spread a little love! 🥜❤️🍻

🥜 Empty Canvas - Peanut Butter Chocolate Wafer 6% cream ale with peanut butter, chocolate wafers and caramel
🥜 Rise Up - Peanut Butter Brownie Bowl 7% milk stout with peanut butter, lactose, brownie pieces, cocoa nibs and vanilla

2025 was a year to remember! For JFS, it was a year of connection and growth, of generosity and collaboration. Wrappers needed! Join us at the J on December 4th (4:30 - 6 pm) as we wrap Hanukkah gifts for 300+ individuals and families in our Kansas City community. All ages welcome!

🎁 Help us share the miracle of Hanukkah by bringing a donation of cooking oil (olive, vegetable, coconut, etc) with you to the party. Other items that can help are flour, sugar or applesauce!🎁
