Did you know? 82% of Gen Z (13–25-year-olds) say they're not likely to use a prescription drug without a prescription in the future. But when overwhelmed by school, athletics, or the stress of life, some may turn to pills to try to find relief.
It’s okay to need medication to help with mental health challenges, but seeking help from a healthcare provider is the only safe way to medicate. Pills from any other source are likely fake. They might look like real medications, such as Adderall, Xanax, or Percocet, but they almost always contain fentanyl.
Remember, the only pill you can trust is one prescribed to you by a medical professional, filled by a licensed pharmacy, and taken as directed.
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health or substance use, help is available. Calling 988 will connect you with a real person ready to help you find local resources and treatment options.
