In the world of sports rehab, these words are like gold. Your body is your greatest asset, and understanding its signals is crucial. Here’s how you can apply this mantra to your rehab process:

Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to what your body is telling you. Pain, discomfort, or fatigue are signals that shouldn’t be ignored. They’re your body’s way of communicating that something needs attention.

Respect Its Limits: Pushing yourself too hard or too fast can lead to setbacks. Rehab is a journey that requires patience and consistency. Respect your body’s current capabilities and work within those limits to avoid overtraining or re-injury.

Never Underestimate Its Potential: Your body is capable of incredible things! With proper care, training, and dedication, you can achieve remarkable feats. Believe in your body’s ability to heal, strengthen, and perform at its best.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury or striving to improve your athletic performance, remember these words as your guiding principles. Embrace the process, trust your body, and celebrate every milestone along the way!

Stay strong, stay focused, and keep moving forward!

When it comes to exercising, whether it is from playing sports or just your daily workout, sometimes injuries come about. While this can happen at any time, it does not necessarily mean that you have to take time away from doing what you love. It is important to not panic and take a step back to assess how you feel before, during, and after the activity.

Not all injuries happen the same way, so sometimes our recovery can look different. Making sure we are taking steps in the right direction to return to a normal everyday life is our number one goal.

If you're tired of your nagging injuries and are ready to start progressing toward being pain-free, send us a message or create an appointment at kineticspineandsport.com

Here is just one of the many reviews our patients have left us!

At Kinetic Spine and Sport we don't just attack your pain. Our doctors do everything they can to find the root cause of the issue to fix the problem at its source. If we just treat the symptoms we will never find the real cause of your pain.

The rehabilitation process can be a long and grueling one. Sometimes we have frustration with our progress. Sometimes we find it difficult to push ourselves when we experience discomfort. Always remember that it takes time and consistency to improve a little each day.

We often remind our patients to enjoy the small wins. Each step forward is a step in the right direction. If we can "endure the suck" now then we can reap the benefits later down the line. Putting in the work now gives us the opportunity to be successful in the future!

Ever wonder why some chiropractors take insurance and some don't?

It is becoming increasingly more common for chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to become a cash practice. Why? It is so they can get away from insurance companies trying to dictate what kind of care they can and can't provide to their patients.

Without the worry of insurance we can:
đźź« Give you exactly what you need.
đźź« Spend more time to provide quality care.
đźź« Create a specific plan that is tailored to you and your goals.

At the end of the day we just want to ensure that whatever we do for our patient is what is best for them in their wellness journey. This freedom allows us to put the patient back in control of their own health.

More questions about whether a cash-based chiropractor is for you or not? Feel free to reach out to us on our social media or our website!

‼️ Meet the Doctor ‼️

Chantiel is from Salina, Kansas, and received an associate’s degree in radiologic technology from Washburn University, as well as her bachelors degree in Life Science and Biochemistry from Kansas State University. She continued her education at Cleveland University-Kansas City, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with supplemental training in biomechanics, functional movement assessments, and gait analysis.

Chantiel was involved in many sports growing up but it wasn’t until her brother was diagnosed with brain cancer in college that she really began to appreciate running and human movement. She believes that being a hybrid athlete not only enhances performance in athletic endeavors across the board, but also helps in being able to adapt and improve in day-to-day life.

Chan is a distance coach with Hot Feet Track & Field Club and helps as an assistant cross country and track coach at Academie Lafayette. For the past 7 years she has raced as a pacer with Smart Pacing as well as Beast Pacing for many of the Kansas marathons. She has completed half marathons, full marathons, ultra marathons up to a 50 mile distance, as well as sprint, olympic, half Ironman, and full Ironman triathlons. She has a passion for human movement and exploring our human potential and mindset, not only with her patients and athletes, but in herself as well.

‼️ Meet the Doctor ‼️

Dr. Denton Yager is from the small town of Stewartsville, Missouri. He attended college at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg where he got a bachelors degree in Kinesiology. It was there he learned that he loved to analyze sports movements and began to see what he could do to improve athletic performance through observation and conditioning. He developed a passion for treating and training athletes in the process and knew there was more that he could do. It was at that time he decided that chiropractic was the next step in his plan.

Dr. Denton Yager then began his study at Cleveland University - Kansas City where he spent many hours learning manual therapy techniques, rehabilitation exercises, kinesiology taping, and musculoskeletal diagnosis. This knowledge allows him to be a multi-discipline doctor to attack any issues that his patients may present with. In his free time, Denton enjoys competing in sports such as basketball, sand volleyball, and golf. His favorite thing to do is travel the USA with his wife, Bailey, and find the best places to hike.
