🎓 Did You Know?

Becoming a physical therapist isn't just about passion—it's about dedication and years of education! 🧠

To practice as a licensed physical therapist in the U.S., you need to:
✔️Earn a Bachelor's Degree – Typically 4 years.
✔️Complete a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program – Approximately 3 years.
✔️Pass a State Licensure Exam – Required in the state where you practice.

That's at least 7 years of higher education before you even start treating patients! And some PTs go even further by pursuing board certifications in specialties like orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports rehab, which can take additional years of training and experience. 💪

Our team is committed to providing top-notch care, backed by years of education and specialized training. 🏅

From leaps to turns, every dancer’s body deserves care that keeps them strong, flexible, and injury-free. Our Performing Arts program is designed specifically for dancers, gymnasts, and performers - helping them train smart, recover well, and keep doing what they love.

These moments are from a recent workshop with Pinnacle Dance & Gymnastics KC, where we shared tips, exercises, and injury-prevention strategies with some incredibly talented young dancers!

What is ASTYM, and how can it help with recovery?

ASTYM (pronounced "A-stim") is a specialized soft tissue therapy that helps your body heal by stimulating tissue regeneration. Using gentle instruments applied to the skin, ASTYM targets areas affected by scarring, overuse, or injury to help break down restrictions and encourage natural healing.

It's often used for:
🔴Tendonitis and tendinosis
🔴Post-surgical recovery
🔴Scar tissue and chronic tightness
🔴Sports or overuse injuries

By jumpstarting the healing process, ASTYM can reduce pain, improve mobility, and support a smoother recovery with better long-term results.

🏠 Keep up with your home exercises.
🗣️ Speak up if something feels off.
