It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

Garden Terrace at Overland Park

Garden Terrace Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence at Overland Park is located in Overland Park, minutes from the attractions of the city. Just a mile from Shawnee Mission Medical Center, our facility is the perfect choice for Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

Focusing on providing safe, secure care for residents with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related disorders, Garden Terrace at Overland Park has eight secured wings. Our facility features five gender-separated wings, three for males and two for females. Whatever the level of care required, our highly trained associates can provide the best care possible from skilled nursingto inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation.

We partner with the Alzheimer's Association and the National Parkinson's Foundation and take part in the fundraising walks for both organizations, as well as the Alzheimer's Association art program Memories in the Making. We are an Overland Park Chamber of Commerce member and a teaching facility for multiple nursing schools in the area.
