Residents enjoy hymns, a thoughtful message, and time for fellowship. Soon after Golee moved into Brookdale Browns Creek, she looked across the dining table and saw a familiar face. Each meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—features two entrée options, plus an always-available menu for added flexibility. To ensure we’re meeting our residents’ preferences, our Dining Room Manager leads a monthly Food Council, where feedback is shared and valued. Rummikub is a tile based board game that combines elements of mahjong and the card game rummy. Rummikub involves strategy in how you choose to play your tiles as well as how you manipulate existing sets and runs. The winner is the first player to empty their rack of tiles!
