A recent participant shared that this workshop was “so helpful” in learning practical tools for everyday stress management and that’s exactly why this work matters.
Sustainability starts when we learn how to move from survival mode into regulation.

Tonight was really special. 💜

My daughter got to attend her first community event with me through the Hispanic Development Fund — and she witnessed students being celebrated as they received scholarship opportunities for higher education.

There’s something powerful about our children seeing what’s possible early.
Seeing leadership.
Seeing education honored.
Seeing dreams supported by community.

As a mom, moments like this matter deeply to me because representation, hope, and opportunity plant seeds long before adulthood.

Tonight reminded me that when we invest in students, we also inspire the next generation watching quietly beside us. ✨💜

So grateful to continue our Bienestar para el Emprendedor series alongside El Centro and The Toolbox KC 💜

Last week we focused on grounding during moments of stress and overwhelm. Each participant practiced simple nervous system tools to help them slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move through stress with more intention and self-compassion.

So many entrepreneurs carry pressure silently while still showing up for their families, businesses, and communities. This space is a reminder that you deserve support too. Your wellness matters. Your nervous system matters.

Our next workshop will take place on May 20th at 6:00 PM, where we will focus on creating gentle nervous system resets through small daily routines practiced over 21 days because meaningful change does not happen through perfection, it happens through consistency, safety, and small moments of care repeated over time.

Healing, growth, and sustainability can exist together. 💜
La semana pasada nos enfocamos en cómo mantenernos presentes y regulados durante momentos de estrés y agotamiento. Cada participante practicó herramientas simples para apoyar el sistema nervioso, reconectarse consigo mismos y manejar el estrés con más intención y compasión.

Muchos emprendedores cargan presión en silencio mientras siguen cuidando de sus familias, negocios y comunidades. Este espacio es un recordatorio de que tú también mereces apoyo. Tu bienestar importa. Tu sistema nervioso importa.

Nuestro próximo taller será el 20 de mayo a las 6:00 PM, donde estaremos trabajando en cómo crear pequeños reinicios para el sistema nervioso a través de rutinas diarias practicadas durante 21 días porque los cambios más importantes no ocurren por perfección, sino por consistencia, seguridad y pequeños actos de cuidado repetidos con el tiempo

Not all overwhelm looks obvious.
Sometimes it looks like:

• being exhausted but unable to relax
• getting irritated over small things
• feeling emotionally numb
• struggling to focus or remember things
• wanting to disappear for a little while just to feel quiet again

Your body will eventually ask for the rest.
