We had the incredible honor of meeting Dr. James T. Logan, a true pioneer in chiropractic care. Dr. Logan graduated from Logan College in 1975 as the only Black American in his class—a testament to his determination and groundbreaking spirit.

As one of the founding members when the ABCA (American Black Chiropractic Association) first began, Dr. Logan helped pave the way for future generations of Black chiropractors. His contributions to the profession extend beyond practice; he worked directly with chiropractic table manufacturers to help design the drop pieces for Thompson Technique, leaving a lasting impact on the tools we use today.

After an remarkable 50-year career dedicated to healing and service, Dr. Logan recently retired due to health conditions. His legacy of excellence, innovation, and representation continues to inspire our profession.
