1. How long have you been with Metro and what is your position?

“I recently joined in October 2025 as an AR specialist.”

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

“I enjoy it because any payer dispute is like solving a giant puzzle if you solve it, you win.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“I am good at numbers, so this kind of work got my attention immediately as soon as I started in 2008. I was also enticed by the way a whole procedure is coded in digits.”

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I was a DJ before I got into this serious job. Have always loved electronic music.” 💙

After a great Thanksgiving break, we are back today with a !!! Today we are introducing one of our certified Orthotists and Prosthetists, Jed Newhardt!🦾

1. How long have you been with Metro and what is your position?

“I have been with Metro Prosthetics since 2020. I am an ABC Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist, CPO for short.”

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

“I really enjoy getting to know patients, working with the team to solve problems, and then heading into the lab to build the devices that can make a real difference in someone’s everyday life.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“When I was trying to figure out what to study in college, I got the chance to shadow a prosthetist in my hometown during high school. They later offered me a summer job in the lab, and once I got hands-on with the work, I realized I really enjoyed it—so I decided to pursue it as a career.”

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I have been employee of the month runner up for 13 straight months!” 🤣

"I have been with Metro since January 1st, 2012 (13 years)."

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

"I get to work with an awesome team of people but the most enjoyable is working along side of my wife, Tanya."

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

"My mom, Deborah Haun! She told me about the industry and made me use the Yellow Pages to find call and find an office for me to volunteer my time to learn about the industry."

4. What's a fun fact about you that most people don't know?

"I raced Motorcross as a teen and still enjoy the sport from a spectators view still today!"💙

It’s time for !! Today we are introducing our awesome Office Manager, Tanya Haun!! 🦾

1. How long have you been with Metro and what is your position?

“13 years. I am the Office Manager for the Baltimore/Nottingham Office.”

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

“The people that I work with.....they are like my family! I also love that many of our patients feel so comfortable with us that they talk to us and treat us like friends and family.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“I started working with Metro when my husband started working with Metro. I had been a stay-at-home mother for a number of years with my 3 young children, but I was looking to get back into the workforce. I used to work for CMS before I had children, and have a background in Budget, Performance Management, and Compliance. So, coming to work for Metro as an Office Manager was a great fit for me.”

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I am really good at hula hooping.“ 💙

“I have been with Metro for 3 years and i’m an O&P Technician.”

“My father was an amputee and it inspired me to help others like him.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“I enjoy spending time with my 6 grandkids, and love to golf.” 💙
