-A new tradition is starting with Crew. Whether you're a long time member or just interested in finding out more about Crew 78, come join us.
Saturday, October 19th, we will again volunteer too be zombies for the Beverly Animal Shelter's A-Paw-Colypse 5K. We will then join Waterloo's Crew for pizza and then go to Terror Fields for some fun.

3 members of Crew along with scouts from area troops spent the last 2 1/2 months working towards their religious emblem requirements. This morning, they received the God & Life completion and awards.
Thank you, Jim for your dedication to these youth. And thank you to Lyons Methodist Church for your support of this program.

* 04/04/19-NE3 (Arear 3 Event (Tier II/2 Tier events required for ranks of Discovery & Path Finder) registrations due w/early bird fee.

We will start the "Scout Strong" Presidential Active Lifestyle Award on Wednesday, March 27th. I will hand out information about it this Wednesday when we go to Lyons and on Thursday at our meeting. This is not a requirement, so your participation is completely voluntary.
At this week's meeting, we will also discuss upcoming events, shooting sports meetings, and needed rank requirements.
The lock-in this past weekend was fun and productive. Lots of new stuff coming up!

The lock-in was a success! Open House, Sundaes, games, and lava bracelets Friday night. Outing to RM&SC Saturday followed by some Project Management training. Lots, lots, and lots of card games.

Some sessions from yesterday's Council Venturing Training session. Sorry I didn't get everybody's. Was a very productive day. Can't wait for next year! Our own Briana McCoy has been asked too conduct training at a 2019 National Youth Leadership event. Hope everyone is thinking about attending one of these great opportunities next summer! Part of the flock left Seneca County to visit more parts of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. They have the view of a lifetime tonight, all in an effort too welcome new neighbors. (Mission was almost impossible due to giggling fits by our helpers, lol.)
