Hope you all had a gentle Thanksgiving. Just a reminder, NO CLASS (vinyasa basics) tonight, Wednesday, November 29th. I will be offering some classes before the holidays based on RSVPS. If you have prepaid sessions left on your card, this will be a good time to use them up before the New Year! So stay tuned for postings of class dates to come.

NO CLASSES Thanksgiving “week”.

Time to share something special ! The saying goes, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” It’s true! Oh so many years ago I was blessed to have Lennessa Shantaya appear as my yoga teacher. What a beautiful journey she led me to. Tonight, it occurred to me that I’d been blessed again, only this time it read this way….when the teacher is ready, the student appears. I want to thank my vinyasa class for holding space with me tonight as I/we celebrated my friend Holly Taylor, a newly certified 200hr yoga teacher and my very first student from when I was completing my training back in the day. I would not be the teacher I am today had it not been for Holly appearing when she did. Watching her practice develop over the years has been such a joyful experience and has helped me grow as a teacher. I was so thrilled when she told me she was going to pursue her teaching certification. And tonight when she came to class having DONE IT, I could not have been more proud!!!!! “A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle!” Thank you Lennessa and thank you Holly! ❤️ Namaste!

Birdie, the yoga dog and Lucky Stone mascot, was back to class this morning! Those fancy dog show dogs have got nothin’ on this sweetheart. Her pedigree?…..PEACE! And she’s got the nama-STAY command down pat!She brings her lovely Birdie-bliss to the space and theeeee real expert at Savasana! We love you Birdie-dog!

Tonight’s the night, Wednesday, 9/20/23, at 6:00pm (SIX PM) we get back to some Basics with a vinayasa class at Lucky Stone Yoga! It’s a full class at this point, but if you’re still interested, contact me (DM or email at luckystoneyoga@gmail.com) and on a week by week basis I can let you know if we can squeeze you in. This class will run to the week before Thanksgiving. More class/workshop postings to come so stay tuned!
