A Florida Licensed Acupuncture Physician must obtain a mininum of 2,700 hours of supervised instruction to practice acupuncture.

It is scary that the state is allowing only 40 hours of instruction for a Chiropractor to utilize the same acupuncture needles using the term dry needling.

Be cautious of the level of education when you or a loved one seeks treatment from a provider other than a Licensed Acupuncturist.
