Little Ms. Daisy decided she felt invincible and ate something way too big for her little body to pass on its own. Upon X-rays, we noticed something rather large in her stomach and went straight to surgery. Luckily she’s recovering well and hopefully won’t do that again!

Thankful for our surgery team and Dr. Jackie who jumped right into action to help our girl 🐶💜

Any guesses what this might be? We still don’t know

Here is Bear with Dr. Jackie enjoying a medicated Spa Day. Unfortunately in Florida, allergies are common in pets and routine bathing is necessary to help remove the allergens causing the itching/ scratching. Bear is feeling a lot better after his bath today!

With the warmer weather making a come back, so are the mosquitoes 🦟! Heartworm disease is spread by mosquitoes and all it takes is getting bit by 1. In Florida, 1 out of 4 pets are infected with this deadly disease that is simply treated by keeping your pets on heartworm prevention year round.

Dr. Morgan Hinson

I was raised in the small town of Quincy, FL and obtained my bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida in 2014. I then worked as a full-time veterinary assistant for 2 years pior to attending the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2020 during the pandemic, I began working at the Banfield Pet Hospital in Oviedo, FL with Dr. Jacqueline Narayansingh as my mentor doctor. My favorite aspects of veterinary care are preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, and the human-animal bond.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my daughter, our two dogs (Ronan and Kida), and our three cats (Bagheera, Nala, and Hiccup). I feel very lucky every day to work with an amazing staff and be able to help people help their pets.

Dr. Jacqueline Narayansingh or “Dr. Jackie”

I am a passionate veterinarian of 21 years with a strong love for surgery. Having grown up in Trinidad, my family relocated to Canada when I was young. I graduated from Ontario Veterinary College, Universtity of Guelph in 2003. After years of being cold, I decided to start over and move to Florida to enjoy the warm weather. I have been working in a small animal practice ever since, with the last 20 years being at Banfield. I enjoy soft tissue procedures, orthopedics, internal medicine, and dentistry.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and visiting theme parks, working out, riding my bike through trails, and playing tennis. I am the proud owner of a cat named Laguna Bloom.
