Hello, fellow therapist,
I am reaching out to you all to let you know about a new upcoming EMDR Therapy Basic Training. Dr Robbie Adler-Tapia, I, and a few others are offering the EMDR Institute-approved Basic Training starting at the end of January 2025.
I hope some of you will be interested in registering for the training for the 1st time or as a "refresher."
Also, I hope you will reach out to your colleagues who are not yet EMDR trained and encourage them to join us. Please feel free to share this information.
I will be hosting the Oklahoma training dates in Tulsa, OK, and I have only 10 slots left.

The 50 hours of lecture, practicum (practice), and consultation will be divided into three or two sessions. The three parts will be 1 to 2 months apart to allow participants to implement and practice.
The training will be a "hybrid" combination of virtual and in-person. I will host participants at a centralized location in Tulsa, OK, on the dates listed below. EMDRIA-approved trainer Dr. Adler Tapia will deliver lectures via Zoom at the seminar, and then I will facilitate the practice sessions and consultations for my participants. All my participants will get my attention and support to help them.
The dates are the following Fridays/Saturdays
January 24 & 25
February 28 & March 1
April 25 & 26
Between the January and February sessions and after the April dates, attendance at a 2-hour consultation via Zoom will also be required.
I am excited to be involved in training in this excellent therapy, so please help me spread the word.

I wanted to share a unique training opportunity on Ritual Abuse and Mind Control: The Nature of this Abuse, Recognition, and Treatment with Adults, which is being presented by Dr. Ellen Lacter, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist, registered play therapist, and supervisor who specializes in the treatment of dissociative disorders and trauma from ritualistic abuse.
