How do you become a chiropractor?
Becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic takes significant dedication. Chiropractors must complete a four-year doctoral program that includes at least 4,200 hours of classroom, laboratory and clinical internship work.
In the U.S., there are approximately 11,000 chiropractic students enrolled across accredited doctoral programs.
About 2,800 new chiropractors enter the workforce each year.
The profession is projected to grow by about 10% between 2024 and 2034, which is much faster than the average for all occupations.
