To the man who called me at 11:45 PM looking for a massage:
What in the world made you think it was appropriate to call a professional—a woman—at nearly midnight for a massage? When I called out how completely out of line that was, you had the audacity to blame me for answering and then criticized my “attitude” as a bad way to get clients?
Let me make one thing PERFECTLY clear:
If your idea of a client-therapist relationship involves boundary-pushing, late-night phone calls, and entitled behavior—you are NOT the kind of client I want.
I run a legitimate business. I’m a licensed massage therapist with nearly two decades of experience, and I expect to be treated with respect. I’m not here to coddle egos or entertain inappropriate nonsense from a man-child. Don’t call me in the middle of the night. Don’t blame me for your lack of boundaries. And don’t mistake professionalism for weakness—I will call this bs behavior out every single time and put you in your place.
