Bone Jovi wished to inform everyone today that the St. James Ambulance Association got their 50/50 raffle tickets in today for the Donkey Basketball event on May 4th @ 7pm at the St. James HS Event Center.

If you want a chance to win the 50/50 raffle make sure you come watch some Donkey Basketball. You have to be present to win!

Unfortunately, Bone Jovi won’t be riding a donkey because the donkeys think he’s too bare-bones for the job…., but come and see some people you most likely will know on a donkey and support the ambulance.

Hibbing, Keewatin, Chisholm, and Virginia firefighters were dispatched this morning to a report of a trailer house fire in Hibbing. The fire was reported around 9:35 in the 3700 block of 9th Avenue West. Firefighters discovered a small fire in the house, which was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hibbing Fire Marshal’s Office.
