Cedar Chiropractic Office Announces Chiropractic Assistant Opportunity. Due to Miss Jessica's transition to massage therapy studies, we are seeking a qualified individual to work 12-15 hours weekly. The ideal candidate will be a people-person with excellent phone and computer skills, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities include patient greeting, phone management, scheduling, payment processing, escorting patients, therapy provision, and nerve tests. We expect to hire within the next week or two. Tip #3 is Nutrition

Getting back to your school schedule is a transition. Nutrition🍎 plays a big role in how your child functions during the day!🧒 You want them to be full of energy and be able to focus. Try cutting out foods with refined sugars🍭 , and food dyes.

Even if you start out slowly to cut out these items you will notice a difference. Making simple swaps like instead of reaching for chips and dipping, try apple slices with almond butter!

Will your child have a morning or afternoon snack? If you can find this out, then you can schedule that into their day ahead of time to get them in the routine!

This is the time to add things like:
Elderberry: shown to help boost immune health
Vitamin C: shown to help boost immune health, like cold and flu.
Vitamin D+K: shown to help immune, brain, nerve health, and relieve stress
Probiotics: shown to help digestive health, and decrease inflammation

Tip #2 for shifting back to school.

Limit Screen Time 📱

Technology can be a wonderful thing at time, but we also need breaks from them too.

Try setting a scheduled amount of screen time per day! ⏰💻

Then schedule time each day to get outside and move! 🏃‍♀️Maybe have a different activity each day. One day try painting, the next play catch, build a fort, look up at the clouds, etc. There is no wrong way to get outside!

Our top tip for getting ready to go back to school is to establish a routine!
✅Plan meals for the week!🍲 This is a time saver on those busy nights and can help the grocery bill too!
✅Use a weekly whiteboard to put children's schedules on and encourage responsibility (remember those library books!)📅
✅Get ready for tomorrow the night before! Having your backpack🎒 packed the night before helps save time in the morning. Even picking out your clothes the night before can save a few extra minutes.
