It’s been far too long….lets do another 💥 patient highlight 💥

Kim came in to see Bryan with a Bakers cyst behind her left knee.

Prior to PT Kim struggled with severe pain in her knee which limited her everyday mobility to only level surfaces.

After just a few weeks of working with Bryan and the crew Kim is now able to walk in the woods for over a mile, climb stairs, and overall feels much stronger and healthier than she did before.

Congrats Kim!

💥 PATIENT HIGHLIGHT 💥

Nate has been a warrior. About a year and a half ago in January 2024 he ruptured both of his patellar tendons. He shortly after had surgery.

A year later he was still lacking basic function. He had significant swelling, was unable to walk down stairs unassisted, and even struggled just getting out of bed.

Then he met Bryan.

After a few months at Peak Performance almost all of his swelling is gone and he is able to perform day to day tasks unassisted and more confidently than ever before.

“Everyday I showed up everyone at Peak gave their 100%. The dedication and focus to my individual needs were some of the main reasons for my successful treatment.”

💥 PATIENT HIGHLIGHT 💥

When most people come in after a shoulder surgery, they come in with a sling on. Not Toby. Toby decided to come in with two slings on.

Shortly after having a rotator cuff repair, Toby fell and broke his shoulder blade on his other arm.

Despite having both his arms immobilized for several weeks, the results were fantastic.

Toby put in months of hard work on both range of motion and strength, and along with Brandon’s help is now back to working on heavy machinery with ease.

It’s been a long hard road but look at him now! CONGRATS TOBY!

P.S. Can you guess who’s taller? 🤪

🔥PATIENT HIGHLIGHT🔥

Kira came to see Brandon after having chronic ankle pain. She is a high level soccer player and her foot/ankle pain was limiting her ability to participate in a full game.

After several weeks of ankle stability, strength, and proprioceptive training, she has been able to play several weekend tournaments pain free!

Not to mention, her team is ranked #1 in the state in their age group and #38 in the country 👀

If you sprain your ankle while playing your sport, make sure you get in to see your PT to rehab and return as quickly as possible!

💥PATIENT HIGHLIGHT💥

Chase is 10 years old and tore his ACL while playing football last year. It’s been a long road, but he was finally cleared by his surgeon!

From starting out on crutches in the PT clinic to now running, jumping, and cutting, it’s safe to say that Chase is ready to get back out on the field thanks to his hard work and the help of his Physical Therapist Bryan.

We will miss his sarcastic comments and bright smile early in the morning before school when he would come in for PT, but are excited to see what both football and wrestling season will bring for him next school year.

Congrats Chase!

💥ARTHRITIS💥

PSA: Arthritic pain CAN be treated!

Ron came in to see Brandon because of hip arthritis and Bob came to see Bryan because of shoulder arthritis. Both had severe pain, loss of motion, and loss of function.

After a few weeks of PT both Ron and Bob have less pain, more motion, and have regained a significant amount of function. Ron is now able to walk without a limp and pain free for the whole day, and Bob able to reach overhead and put his coat on pain free.

💥PATIENT HIGHLIGHT💥

This isn’t Nancy’s first time around the block. In the past the staff at Peak has been able to help her with low back pain, knee pain, and having both of her knees replaced.

This time around Nancy was having pain in her left glute/hip area. It was intense, sharp, and could last for weeks at a time when she had to bend over and pick heavy objects up off the ground.

After a little work with Brandon she’s a new woman.

Nancy says that she feels stronger, more balanced, even taller and loves the exercises because of how good they make her feel even at age (almost) 70.

“I always know the Peak Performance team is there for me to show me more and help me out. They’re a family!”

It’s time for our next PATIENT HIGHLIGHT!🔥

David came to Peak Performance just 3 days after having a hip replacement/resurfacing. Prior to surgery he could only walk short distances with a heavy limp and bent posture, could no longer ride his bike, and was uncomfortable sleeping.

David is now currently back to enjoying gymnastics, skiing, cycling, running, and all other forms of an active lifestyle pain free.

He said that AJ was very caring and professional and that he had complete faith in him as a Physical Therapist.

“I enjoyed every visit to Peak Performance. I appreciated the exercise and results, but more than that, I enjoyed the casual banter and overall experience. I have more than reached my goals.”
