UPDATE... First I would like to thank all the ones who have helped me through my injury. All the visits, phone calls, and text while in the hospital and rehab. All the ones who have tended to all my needs. The ones who made it not so lonely while trying to heal. All the ones who have shown me there cooking skills and keeping me fed. All who have joined MealTrain.com and signed up to bring me a dinner. All the food has been so awesome. The guys who help move some furniture so I had a new place to hang my hat. The ones who hammered away to get running water in my apartment. The ones who drive me to ER and waited for a long time there. The ones who drive me to where I had to be. The one who ran earns. This is all so great when I have limits on standing.
All of you I will not forget from the smallest gesture to the biggest act of kindness. Feel like I am making an Academy Award speech, but the award is all yours.
As far as how I am now, pain is half of what last month was. And I am not to walk on my leg for 3 months, then 25%for a month then50% for a month and 75%.
This is the hardest part. Not being able to stand long on one leg. Sleeping on my back with a cast boot, all is enough.
The upside I have one month down and 2 to go. Scars up the leg and butt look good and healed. So on with time and soon down the road should be better than new. Thank you all for the Facebook well wishes and checking on me as well. All in all a lucky guy.
