To wrap up our "Moments In Bloom" week, the gentlemen enjoyed an afternoon filled with delicious treats of sausage, cheese, crackers, pretzels, and beer to go along with a fun game of dice! 🎛️🍻🧀
What a wonderful way to end a week full of laughter, friendships, memories, and blooming together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special for our residents and staff! 🌼🙂

🌸National Skilled Nursing Care Week 🌸 Moments in Bloom - Day 6 🎶 This day's theme, "Music That Blooms", filled our facility with joy and wonderful music! Residents enjoyed sing-alongs in their individual units, while others took advantage of the beautiful, sunny weather with music on the patio. The celebration continued in the afternoon with lively live polka music that had everyone smiling and tapping along. Music truly brings people together and helps every moment bloom! ☀️🎵💐

🌺National Skilled Nursing Care Week 🌺 Moments in Bloom - Day 5 "Tropical Blooms"
All about the tropics! Staff and residents dressed their best and truly embraced the luau/Hawaiian spirit. 🌴🌺
We started our day with a wonderful church program, followed by planting flowers together and making beautiful flower crafts to brighten our day and surroundings. In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed a fun luau party on the patio with tropical punch, delicious pineapple fluff, sunshine, fresh air, laughter, and great company. ☀️🍍
It was such a beautiful day filled with smiles, blooming friendships, creativity, and joyful moments together!

🌸 National Skilled Nursing Care Week - Moments in Bloom- Day 4 🌸 "Bloom and Celebrate"
We started the day with a little patio time, enjoying some fresh air despite the chilly and windy weather. Off-unit walks, tending to our flowers, friendly games of cards, and catching up with friends. 🌼♣️
In the afternoon, residents, staff and families came together for wonderful Elvis entertainment that had everyone smiling, singing along, and reminiscing. 🎶💙
It was truly an amazing day filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories. What a wonderful celebration for all! 🌸✨

📍Moments in Bloom - Day 3 🌱"Growing Together"
We started our day with our PAL Program as our residents enjoyed a wonderful time with the Owen-Withee 4th graders! Together they made crafts, played bingo, shared smiles & laughter, and created special memories across generations. ❤️
In the afternoon, both residents and staff cooled off with a fun root beer float social and it was an absolute blast!
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so meaningful and memorable. Watching friendships bloom and joy grow together is what this week is all about! 🌼

I would like to extend a sincere "Thank You" to the CCRLC team, the Clark County Sheriff's Department, the O-W Fire & Rescue Team, and various other community groups who joined in the search and successfully located one of our residents who eloped from the facility last evening. Everyone's quick response and professionalism made all the difference in a safe and sucessful ending to this story.

I am amazed on how quickly everyone responded to the call. At 6:03PM staff were aware that a resident eloped. At 6:06PM an “emergency code” was called and staff implemented the “emergency plan”. At 6:19PM the Sheriff’s Department was notified of the elopement. At 6:30PM the Sheriff's Department and O-W Fire & Rescue Team arrived onsite. The resident was found safe at 2:30AM after avoiding the search efforts of all those involved. Thank you for all you do every day to keep our community safe.

~ National Skilled Nursing Care Week ~ Moments in Bloom-Day 2 "Bloom and Move". Yesterday was filled with smiles, movement, and fresh air as we celebrated our "Bloom and Move" theme! 🌼Residents started the morning with blooming exercises to keep active, energized, and moving. 💪🌷
We also enjoyed getting out and about with a relaxing countryside bus ride while taking in the beautiful scenery. To top it off, we did a fun drive-by visit to local greenhouses filled with colorful flowers and spring beauty. 🌸🌿

🌟🍂Congratulations to our Employees of the Quarter — Selena Acker & Renelyn Beyerl!🍂🌟

♦️"Selena Acker joined CCRLC in October 2025 and during this short 7 months she has become an integral part of the Business Office and CCRLC as a whole. As an Accounting Clerk Selena connects residents with their loved ones, processes invoices for the facility to keep the lights on, and is the first point of contact for all incoming persons, parcels and communications.
Selena is a team player for team CCRLC as she is willing to go above and beyond when the situation requires it. Selena actively works to make the business office run smooth whether it being keeping CCRLC stocked with supplies to maintaining emergency situations as the first contact at CCRLC she handles it all with a calm demeanor.
The GLAM (Golden Leaf Award Members) committee was created to spotlight outstanding employees and I whole heartedly agree with their Quarter 1, 2026 employee selection of Selena Acker. Thank you Selena!"

She does all of this without complaint, without hesitation, and often without taking a break herself. She goes above and beyond when training new aides, showing them not just how to do the job, but how to do it well—with compassion and patience. Her leadership sets the tone for excellence.
