💖 A Little Late, but Full of Love! 💖

This past Friday, Clark County Rehab & Living Center was filled with love, smiles, and beautiful blooms as we celebrated Valentine’s Day in a very special way.

Through the Adopt a Grandparent program hosted by Green Bee Floral Designs LLC, members of our community came together to donate 150 beautiful bouquets and Valentine’s cards for our residents. A special thank-you to Owen Family Dental for volunteering their time to deliver the flowers to our facility and help spread the love.

Each resident received a bouquet, and our units celebrated with Valentine’s parties featuring heart-shaped cookies and punch. 💗🍪🥤
The smiles throughout the building said it all our residents truly loved their flowers!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Valentine’s celebration so meaningful for our residents. 🌸😊

🐾The Power of a Paw🐾
Dog visits play a big role in resident well-being here at CCRLC. From playful puppies to senior dogs and from teeny-tiny to wonderfully giant, each dog brings something special. These visits help reduce anxiety, boost mood, encourage movement and create meaningful connections. Most importantly, they bring happiness and lots of smiles to our residents day 🐶

👩‍⚕️ Abby joined us on April 23, 2024, as a CNA, and it has been truly rewarding to watch her growth over the past year. Starting out quiet and shy, Abby has built confidence in her role, learned to trust her knowledge, and begun using her voice more — growth that has not gone unnoticed. She is dependable, always willing to help cover call-ins, and brings a strong work ethic to every shift. Abby goes above and beyond to ensure her residents are safe, cared for, and never overlooked. From taking extra time to listen, to providing care beyond expectations, to bringing roses for every resident on 2 West last Valentine’s Day, her kindness and heart for the residents shine through. Most importantly, the residents truly love Abby. 💖

🛠️ Sara has been a valued member of our team for 14 years, beginning her journey working nights as a custodian before moving into Environmental Services. Over the years, she has continued to grow and has become someone we can always rely on to help keep things running smoothly, especially behind the scenes. Sara takes pride in helping keep our facility and patients safe by assisting with admissions, therapy equipment requests, patient moves, and repairs to DME as needed. She is always willing to step in and help wherever needed. Though quiet and often behind the scenes, Sara’s dedication and hard work are truly noticed and deeply appreciated. 🌿

Both Abby and Sara exemplify the teamwork, compassion, and commitment that make our community so special. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do and proud to celebrate their contributions. 💫

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This role involves handling confidential employee information, supporting full-cycle onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with HR initiatives.

• Support full-cycle onboarding, including:
o Background checks & pre-employment testing
o Preparing and reviewing new hire paperwork
o Conducting new hire orientation
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Scan and file documents into personnel files

• Coordinate annual background checks, misconduct registry, and license renewals
• Assist with the employee recognition program
• Communicate professionally with employees and colleagues
