🦜 SHIP Happens at Wellpoint! ⚓️
This Halloween, our crew set sail on the Wellpoint Wonder for an adventure full of laughs, treasures, and teamwork! Our theme — “SHIP Happens at Wellpoint” — celebrated all the things we treasure most: love, purpose, companionship, knowledge, support, fitness, and more.
Our team of pirates and mermaids took over the high seas (and hallways), spreading joy and plenty of “ARRR!”-mazing energy to our residents. Because at Wellpoint, when SHIP happens — we weather it together, lifting each other up with compassion and fun.
From treasure chests of smiles to waves of laughter, our crew proved that the greatest treasure of all is the Wellpoint family! 🏴‍☠️💙🌊

We had the best time making a splash!☀️🏊‍♀️ Between a few pool exercises and a friendly game of catch, there were plenty of laughs to go around. Sometimes you’ve just gotta tap back into that childhood joy — because happiness really does float! 💙

You're invited to join us Friday, November 7th from 10 am - 2 pm for our Honor Walk.

We will have a large canvas labyrinth set up in the Multi Media Room—a sacred space for quiet reflection and remembrance. Walking a labyrinth is an ancient practice that offers moments of mindfulness, healing, and peace.

As you walk, you’ll have the opportunity to carry a card written in honor, memory, or thanksgiving of a loved one. We welcome you to bring a photo or small memento to carry with you on your walk.

During our reading/discussion in Flourish Memory Care, we discovered it’s World Occupational Therapy Day! 💙 We couldn’t let the day pass without bragging on our amazing OT, Lori! She may work for Fox Rehabilitation, but we definitely claim her as one of our own. 🦊💪 She goes above and beyond every single day to keep our residents thriving — and we’re so grateful for her! Each year, our corporate team provides fresh produce for all our staff just before Thanksgiving, a Charter Farmers Market — helping to fill their family tables with goodness and gratitude. 🧡

🍂 Culinary Creations – October Edition:
October was sweet to us — literally! 😋 Our residents rolled up their sleeves and grilled their own fluffernutter sandwiches (sticky fingers and smiles all around), then later in the month topped it off with a layered pumpkin cheesecake mousse that was chef’s kiss! 🎃🍰 Who needs a bakery when you’ve got this crew? 👩‍🍳🔥
