The forest knows her name
She belongs to the quiet and the wild
She is ephemeral
Flowing in and out
Over and under
And in between each tree
Each breath

You feel her peace
Like a gentle breeze
Touching your cheek
Yet nowhere to be seen

In your mind, you see her
A Laurel of fall leaves
Sitting on her head
Her dress
Olive green
The hem lays gently
On the forest floor

She is there…
For the broken hearted
And the lost
Healing the mind
The soul
Anointing all with peace

The forest knows her name
She belongs to all who enter
