💛 ISO: Free or Low-Cost Couches for Our DT Program 💛

Our DT clients put lots of love (and wear!) into our lounge area furniture, which means we go through couches pretty quickly. It’s time for another refresh, and we’re hoping to find free or inexpensive couches, sectionals, or loveseats to help keep our space comfortable and welcoming.

If you’re decluttering, upgrading, or know someone who is, we’d be so grateful for the donation or a budget-friendly price. We can arrange pickup!

🎄✨ Day Program Holiday Adventure! ✨🎄
We had the BEST day taking a group from our day program to Nashville for the incredible ICE! display — and wow, it did not disappoint! From the stunning ice sculptures to the magical holiday atmosphere, everyone was all smiles. ❄️💙

Before exploring the winter wonderland, we headed to Paula Deen’s for a delicious lunch that left us all happily stuffed and full of Southern comfort. 🍽️🤗

So grateful for days like this — full of laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories. ❤️

🎉 Three Years of Commonwealth Connections Day Program! 🎉

Today we celebrate three incredible years of our day program — three years of connection, growth, laughter, and love.

What started as a dream to create a space where everyone feels seen, valued, and included has grown into something so much more. Every day, we get to witness courage, joy, and friendship unfold in the lives of the individuals we support. Each smile, each small victory, each shared moment reminds us why we do what we do.

We are so proud of the lives we’ve touched — and equally grateful for how much each person has touched ours in return. 💛

To our participants, families, and amazing team: thank you for believing in inclusion, for leading with love, and for helping us live our mission every single day.

Here’s to continuing to welcome all, love all, and value all — today and always. 💫

🌟 Week of November 10–13 at Commonwealth Connections! 🌟

We have a wonderful week planned full of learning, creativity, and celebration!

💛 Monday: Social Skills/DLS & Religion with Ms. Amy
🧁 Tuesday: Cooking Day! Our clients will make No-Bake Desserts for Thursday’s big event.
🤝 Wednesday: Community Outreach at Pitino Shelter (Group 😎 and a fun Turkey Art Project to decorate for our celebration.
🦃 Thursday: THANKSGIVING MEAL & 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!
We’re so excited to celebrate three amazing years of our day program with a special meal for clients and families. The delicious desserts made by our clients earlier in the week will be served as part of the celebration!

We are so grateful for the love, laughter, and community that have filled these three years. Here’s to many more! 💛✨

🥪 National Sandwich Day Fun! 🥪

Yesterday at our day training program, we celebrated National Sandwich Day in the best way possible — by making our own delicious sandwiches! Everyone got creative choosing their favorite ingredients to create a masterpiece!

It wasn’t just about sandwiches — it was about choice, creativity, and community. We love seeing everyone come together to learn new skills and enjoy good food (and good company!) 💛

🎨 Tuesday: Time to get creative with Arts & Crafts!

💙 Wednesday: Community Outreach continues as Group A visits the Pitino Shelter. We’re so proud of our team—for spreading kindness in our community!

🍂 Thursday: Thankful Thursday! Each week in November, we’ll share what we’re thankful for and add it to our growing “Paper Train of Gratitude” that will decorate our Thanksgiving meal. 🚂✨
