I’m looking for compassionate, reliable, and trauma-informed therapists and social workers to help continue providing quality services for perinatal mental health in our area! My referrals have been booming since I started and continue to boom. I am currently on a waiting list until I can get someone else in here with me, so please share with anyone you know that may be interested. Sit with parents who are doing it without a village and you’ll feel it immediately— the conversation is different.

There’s no casual talk of babysitters or last-minute help. Only planning, endurance, and showing up when there’s nothing left.

No backup when they’re sick. No “just for a bit” relief. So they become the village.

It doesn’t make them cold.
It makes them intentional.

Because when you’re the only safety net, you don’t get
to be careless—with your children or yourself.

Angela is warm and welcoming to clients offering a compassionate setting to facilitate real healing.

Motherhood is hard. Doing it with limited support is even harder. Women overall deserve better partners, family support, and societal expectations of how we all show up for postpartum parents.

Today’s FDA panel on SSRIs in pregnancy lacked balance and failed to reflect the evidence. Untreated depression and anxiety can lead to serious health risks for pregnant patients. SSRIs can be lifesaving and life-changing. Patients deserve access to evidence-based, compassionate care. ACOG will continue to advocate for research and safe mental health treatment in pregnancy.
