The “Homegrown” design celebrates the fact that local donors donate blood at WKRBC, which then supplies local medical providers, who treat local patients.

All week long, you can help us raise money in support of She’s the V.E.T, a female veteran non-profit here in Owensboro!

Our own Carlotta Richey and her fellow veteran women lead the organization that seeks to connect and support locals who share in that identity.

And by giving blood at WKRBC from 8-8 today (Tuesday) or 9-4 the rest of the week, you can help She’s the V.E.T. create a lasting impact beyond military service as we will financially contribute for every blood donation made!

A couple of drives, generously hosted by Breckinridge Health and a full week of in-center She’s the V.E.T. benefit blood drive! Center hours are M, W , Thurs 8:30 amto 5:30 pm, Tues. 8:30 am to 8 pm, and Fri. 8:30 am to 5:30 pm for you to come save lives!
