We are extremely grateful to have been awarded the Good Samaritan Grant this past year of 2024. 💙

Because of this, one of our fellow MKCS therapists was able to decorate her classroom with fun therapeutic items for the 2024-25 school year. Her students came in day by day knowing that they were being cared for.

Thank you to the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church for helping us provide a safe and calming environment for the children we serve.

This month, we celebrate Mental Health Awareness 💚 At Mary Kendall Community Services, we believe that your mental health matters and is essential in every aspect of your well-being.

We encourage you to set aside time for yourself to intentionally strengthen your mind. Whether that be going outside for a walk or simply sitting still for a few minutes, your mental health deserves your time and energy.

SNAP recipients get double the money at the Owensboro Farmers Market! Get fresh local produce, fruits, eggs, meat, and some select plants!

The Kentucky Double Dollars program for SNAP recipients begins THIS WEEK!

SNAP users can double their benefits up to $20 a day at market each week. The process is quick and easy! Just head to the market booth and swipe your SNAP card. For each $2 of SNAP that you use, get a matching $2 Kentucky Double Dollars token through the Double Dollars program through Farm Alliance up to $20 a day. Spend the first $12 your tokens on Kentucky grown produce, fruit, and edible plant starts from market vendors and the next $8 on Kentucky grown meats, eggs, and dairy.
