Make sure to bring your non-perishable food donations to Glenn Funeral Home TODAY from 10 AM to 2 PM!

Just look for the drive-thru collection area and one of our attendants will be there to collect your donation. You will not even need to get out of your car.

If you cannot make it today, donations will be accepted inside the funeral home through December 22.

Glenn Funeral Home is turning its front lobby and parking lot into a hub for holiday giving, inviting the community to help restock the shelves at the Help Office of Owensboro as local food banks continue to feel the strain following recent SNAP uncertainty.

As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded of the importance of gratitude, community, and caring for our neighbors. We’ve seen this kindness in action as local nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors have answered the call amid the recent uncertainty around SNAP benefits.

Even with these efforts, local food banks are still feeling the effects, which will only increase as the holiday season continues.

To help meet this need, we’re honored to announce that Glenn Funeral Home will serve as a donation center for the Help Office of Owensboro from November 17 - December 22. With our central location, covered carports, and friendly staff, we’re ready to make giving as easy as possible.

Their greatest need at the moment is non-perishable food items. Here are two ways you can help:
