This red door….

Keith House was my home for a short window of time in my early 30’s. Six short months that are etched on my soul.

It took me 13 years to make it back to this place I once called home.

Many of you know that I’ve led a rather wayward life, steeped in transition, always moving. To most it may look like I’m unrooted…. but I assure you it’s quite the opposite, my roots extend deep and far. I have the deep honor of calling many places across this world home.

No competition, no comparison, just deep resourced commitment to loving and nurturing each other’s spirits.

This past weekend was the true meaning of women lifting each other up. Sometimes we call each other out, sometimes we cry, laugh, dance, scream…. But mostly we feed each other medicines that aid in our own healing.

It’s sweltering out. I had forgotten how unforgiving the weather can be here during the Summer while I was living in South Dakota…. But damn things sure are pretty…

This September will mark 6 full years since I moved back to this part of the Midwest…. It’s weird to think it’s been that long and that life has changed so much in that window of time….

Farmers Market haul…. It’s more important than ever before to support your local farmers and producers and connect with community.

It’s also less expensive and better quality than the grocery store for the most part.
